Taking Bleezer for a Spin

The idea of a desktop blogging application always excites me but it never happens. From Qumana to Bleezer to Flock, I’ve tried all the free ones. The only really nice one seem to be etco which costs.

Using Bleezer at the moment, it is free, looks good and seems to have all the necessaties I need. The only missing part seems to be the ablity to choose multiple categories when publishig.

Will I choose it for the long run? Probably not. I’ve tried ecto and it’s hard to see any other desktop blogging application try to compare. Bleezer is great, but not quite as polished in the interface and overall application.

Last minue issues here. I’m on an Intel iMac and it seems that spell check isn’t working. That’s a major issue for me as spelling isn’t a strong spot. (as you can probably tell from the un-spell checked post above)

Don’t know when you last tried Qumana, but people seem to like the most recent version quite a bit .. we have gotten rid of most of the bugs our users have noticed, and have added a few features that have been asked for consistently over the past few months.

The verdict seems to be much better stability and ease of use .. so if you tried Qumana prior to August 22nd and went back and tried it now, you’d likely notice some differences in performance, I believe.
