Carrie Underwood Music Now Available

You’ve been waiting for it. New music from is now available! iTunes has Inside Your Heavenicon available for download today. At only $0.99 it’s a pretty good deal. It even comes with a Digital Booklet.

Interestingly enough it’s categorized as pop. I thought she was country? Go figure.

What to do about the American Idol finalists?

So we are now down to three possible idols. was taken away from us, however we’ll hear from him again. He’s a good singer with a good personality. Now we are down to three and what are we going to do? Lets see, we have Bo Bice, Carrie Underwood and Vonzell Solomon.

has a great voice, however where would we hear her on the radio? isn’t on any of the stations around here. They get labled as hip hop or something and never get herd of again. I’m afraid all of Vonzell’s tallent will get lost on the wrong stations. If they could keep her pop she’d rock!

is cool. However he’ll have a hard time on radio I think. He’ll want to be rock but will probably be categorized as pop or maybe even country. Yes country, he’s got a good voice for that. However, he won’t want to be pop or country and he’ll be pulled in all directions and his career may suffer.

has a great voice and she’ll love to be country. She’ll be a little Shania/Faith combo. I think she has the best chance of big success out of the three, however is she the best choice? Don’t get me wrong, I’m routing for her, but is she the best singer?

Granted, any of the top 5 or even top 10 can sing better than half the artists on the radio. They sure all can sing better than or . Remember Macy? Eww. Even Scott Savol has a better voice than lots of people on the radio today.

Speaking of , he’s got the voice, he just needs a personality. Get rid of that scary jerk looking persona he could have a good thing going. Any personality coaches out there? I’m not his biggest fan, however he did do some good songs. The talent, possibly. The personality, ummm no.

Just a few more weeks left and we’ll know the answers. I’m guessing Vonzell is next to go and Carrie will win it all. Which is good. No American Idol winner has done anything close to and it’s sad really. Who’s to blame? They all work so hard and go though so much to just disappear.

Paula Abdul Slept With Corey Clark

Well I watched the ABC special last night where Corey Clark told about his relationship with Paula Abdul during a season of American Idol. Paula Abdul coached him on song selections, helped buy him clothes to wear on television, slept with him, bought him gifts and even gave him prescription cough medicine to soothe his throat.

I’m not sure how Paula can get out of this as she did not do a good job of keeping it a secret. I think it’s time for her to be booted off American Idol anyways. She never has good feedback anymore. It’s always ‘That was great” “You are a star” and other stupid sayings that give the contestants no real feedback.

Corey Clark isn’t stupid either. He’s working on a new album and by telling the world of his relationship with Paula Abdul he’s getting a lot of free publicity. I think that’s his main motivation behind this whole scandal even though he’ll never admit to it.

With the final episode of American Idol just weeks away, this has to be causing a big controversy behind the scenes. Not sure how the show or FOX will deal with it, but we should soon find out.

Scotts Gone!!

It’s about time!!! Scott Savol has been voted off American Idol! Thanks everyone!

American Idol, Scott Savol, has to go.

I can’t believe it. America voted and didn’t vote Scott Savol out. What’s going on? I think he’s cheating somehow. It just doesn’t make sense to me how he can still be around. He was a jerk in the beginning, doesn’t seem very likable and his performances have been ok, not the best. So are you voting for Scott? If so, why? I want him gone and the sooner the better. If he wins, I probably won’t ever watch American Idol again.

American Idol’s Constantine Maroulis’ Band Releases Album

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

The band of “American Idol” finalist Constantine Maroulis will release their first CD on May 10, recorded before the singer’s fame skyrocketed on the TV talent show.

Koch Records, the label that signed “Idol” failure William Hung, has announced a deal with Pray for the Soul of Betty, the New York band Maroulis fronted before auditioning for the Fox reality program.

Maroulis signed over the rights to his bandmates before joining “Idol,” so the self-titled album isn’t owned by the show, a publicist for “American Idol” confirmed Friday.

The long-haired rocker is one of six remaining in the contest, where he has emerged as a heartthrob candidate for young girls. Earlier in the season, the show documented Maroulis informing the band of his “Idol” intentions. Though some members then seemed upset about the more mainstream direction, they are now quite happy for the publicity.

“The reason why he’s doing `American Idol’ is for the band, not for anything else,” drummer Hamboussi told The Associated Press Friday, adding that Maroulis and the band remain tight.

“(On `American Idol’) he doesn’t get the bass drum or the guitar hitting him in the back of the head,” Hamboussi said.

Giovanna Melchiorre, a spokeswoman for Koch, said that while Maroulis won’t be able to tour with the band, “Legally, I think we’re OK.”

The record company said Pray for the Soul of Betty draws influences from Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden and Queens of the Stone Age, and “sounds distinctively like a New York City band should sound: intense, raw and powerful.”
